Dr. Shane has been a psychotherapist since the late 1970s. In the early 1990s, he developed severe insomnia as a result of a major crisis. Through years of exploring his own insomnia, he discovered specific body sensations that comprise the neurological switches for sleep. He resolved his insomnia, expanded his research in the field of sleep medicine, and developed the Sleep Easily method. Because Dr. Shane discovered these steps from internally observing his own process of falling asleep, people report that the Sleep Easily method feels like the actual way sleep happens-very different from other methods.

Through the application and refinement of clinical results, Dr. Shane has used the Sleep Easily method in successfully treating over 2,000 patients with insomnia referred to him by more than 130 physicians and psychologists. After refining this method for 17 years, Dr. Shane created the Sleep Easily program so individuals can learn and use the method in the comfort of their own home.

Change your sleep… Change your life.
  • “Dr. Shane’s work is the best psychological intervention for insomnia that I have found. I am recommending it to my patients and to participants in the Whole Heart Program for reversing heart disease.” — John O’Heame, M.D., Integrative/Holistic Medicine Specialist, Medical Director, Whole Heart Program, Boulder, CO
